성균관대학교 무용학과 교수로,
Texas Woman's University에서 박사 학위(Ph.D.)를 취득하였으며,
라바노테이션 교사 자격증,
미국 공인 움직임 분석가(CMA : Certified Movement Analyst) 자격증,
BodyMind Dancing™ 교사 자격증,
ISMETA 등록 소매틱 움직임 교육자/치료사(RSME/T) 자격증,
ISMETA 등록 소매틱 무용 교육자(RSDE) 자격증을 취득하고
현재 Somatic Ballet® 학습 프로그램을 개발하여
지속적인 연구와 보급에 주력하고 있다.

Somatic Dance Educator(RSDE),
Certified Teacher of  'Kouk Sun Do'
which is Korean traditional way of meditative body-mind discipline, and studied 'Gatsugen Undo' in Japan.
She developed "Somatic Ballet®",
"Somatic Movement Clinic®",
"Somatic Dancing®",
and "Yugid  Dance®".
She is currently exploring East-Asian Somatic practices,
and focusing on the integral somatic studies
in relation to Eastern alternative medicine.
