Floor Exercises (Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ)
Goals :
To release unnecessary tension.
To wake up the body as a whole.
To improve your energy & blood circulation.
To activate the function of internal organs.
To restore the energy to Dance (Ballet) !
Contents :
Ⅰ. In Sitting Position :
- Patting the body
- Rotating the ankles
- Hitting the sole of the feet
(Stimulating ‘Yong Cheon’ -- Kidney Meridian)
- Massaging the calves
- Twisting the upper body, & more . . .
Ⅱ. In Supine Position :
- Shaking hands & feet
- Knees drop
- Legs circle
- V ups
- X-roll
- Shoulder stand
- Full bridge, & more . . .
Ⅲ. In Prone Position
- Tapping w/ finger tips & toes
- Reversed X-roll
- Lifting Left leg & Right leg
- Rolling on the stomach
- Tapping lower back (‘kidneys’)
- Waving the whole body (‘tiger pose’), & more . . .
Guidelines :
- Relax & Release tension.
- Slowly!
- Focus on “Breathing (Lower Danjeon Breathing)“.
- Stretch as far as you can go.
(Never ‘Die Hard’!)
- Follow your own rhythm.
- Easier, Safer, Deeper, & Stronger.
